I am here now as a custodial cast member, this job has both good sides and bad sides. Good side is that you get to move around freely to work independently and are therefore not under constant scrutiny of a manager and so essentially you are your own boss, bad point is that it is probably the dirtiest job in the whole park because your job is emptying trash cans. However having said that custodial cm's do get one of the best pay rates out of all ICP roles. I am living in Vista Way at the moment, its alright, you have a walgreens not far just over the road basically, a wendys, a chevron etc so you have enough conveiniances near by, but in walking distance from Chatham Square is an outlet mall which has shops like lacoste outlets, armani outlet, burberry outlet, adidas outlet, reebok outlet, barneys ny etc so thats really cool actually lol its a shorter walk form the commons than it is from chatham but commons and chatham are very close anyway and theres also pattison court , as for traditions lol it doesnt really matter who you do it with because either way it is going to be boring, I came to Orlando alone but made friends and went to traditions with them and it was still boring my only advice is to ensure that on the day of traditions you are well within the disney look or else they will send you home and make you sit through and 8 hour class which is what happened to my friend because they deemed his hair to be too long lol anyway which ever job you choose to do, HAVE FUN!

I can't answer much, but I'd do merchandise because you get to interact with the guests more. I would much rather work in a gift shop than quick service food. Full service food would be my 2nd choice, because you would get tips. That would probably be the best money, but it would be the most demanding knowing English.

Do you have any equestrian colleges/colleges with equestrian teams somewhat nearby? I go to school for equine studies and in the barns/financial offices/posting boards, there are signs that people post looking for student workers. There are quite a few camp counselour openings and people are really interested. I even applied for a few.

I would jump all over a deal like yours (salary + lessons + horses all day) and I would guess that a lot of other people would as well.

Otherwise, tack stores, craigslist, and bulletins if you live in a somewhat horsey area.

Well, you will need a prove that you have a job, with this you can then go to the American Embassy for your visa, if you get a visa to just visit your dad, then by law you're not suppose to work, and if you find work during your visit, you can not change your visa, you will need to go out of the country and re inter with the new visa i.e. the working visa.
