I did mine at BBC Elstree studios in the nusery and I had to look after the children of the people from Eastenders.
Another friend of mine did hers at a vets and got to see newborn kittens.
Other things people in my year did; glaxosmithkline, primary schools (it was the last week of term so all they did was watch videos) and the zoo.
There areloads of fun things, the person who worked at the zoo had a great time as she had to take part in the parrot show, where it drove a bicycle etc. (I'm sure you've seen one before)
I hope you find something, everyones version of fun is different though.

You question is confusing. It sounds like you are going on some sort of apprenticeship program? You just need to wait until you get there and see what happens. Probably they will walk you through the duties of the job and let you handle some transactions. Just relax and try to learn as much as you can.

introduce yourself, tell them what you want, be polite but brief.

Thank them for their time, even if you don't get a job.

Optional: If you feel comfort doing it, if you don't get accepted, you might consider asking them as politely as you can for pointers or suggestions

'Do you take work experience placements'
Then it will be fine, once you phone the first place you will be fine.

I have not worked with them before - are you licensed? if so, ask to get in up to your elbows..meaning, if a color is happening - how can you help? With mixing, with foils...whatever - do whatever it takes to get some know-how under your belt.
