What should I wear for my work experience in a museum?

We Answered:

As professional as your wardrobe allows. A white long sleeved blouse, and jacket, nice pants. Dark colors or plain colors. How fun for you, what a wonderful opportunity!!!!!

Acting extra work in Cardiff or South Wales?

We Answered:

try joining some theatre groups that are local and practice yourself by looking at boks, dvds and on the internet for tips and so on. if you ever do an audition make sure you perform your audition piece in front of a friend or family member fisrt and get them to tell you where you could improve. for auditions go on starnow.co.uk, it costs about £5 a month but this is really cheap and you get loads of auditions, click on cardiff on the left where it says region and auditions for cardiff will come up, your lucky living their because there are usually a lot of auditions on star now for cardiff. good luck

Tyrone Said:

My sister wants to work in the music/drama industry - where in caerphilly/cardiff can she get work experience?

We Answered:

Yeah. I want to be in "the business" too, and I thought about it - my career advisor said that just doing work exp in a drama/music business doesn't improve your chances, because chances are that the work exp people there are just fetchers (as in people who bring coffee and donuts) which won't improve your credit in the media world. Tell her she can do work exp anywhere really. Just make sure it's something she'll find fun, like waitressing or shop work (generally quite fun). I did work exp last year and even though I want to be a singer, I loved waitressing because I got on well with everyone!

Try a company called Stradform. Sorry I've not got their contact details but my son worked for them. They are all over that area of South Wales.
