Wendy Said:

Where can i find companies which work with H2B visa? I'd like to have work experience outside Brazil?

We Answered:

Hi... (ou Olá! - sou de Portugal)

For all visa requirements and candidacies to US I recommend you to go to the United States embassy (or Consulate) in Brazil (wherever you are, major cities should have one US center) and they would tell you all about US visas!

Have a great day...

Esther Said:

Is it a good idea to e-mail companies asking for work experience?

We Answered:

Good for you!
I suggest you telephone the Human Resources Dept of some of these organisations and get a contact name before you write so that you can follow up you e-mail. You can ask who to write to, what to put and what to do if you hear nothing back within a period of time.

Do you have a careers officer at school or locally, or perhaps a chamber of commerce who can help introduce you to some people.
Good luck

Work experience in investment companies?

We Answered:

you might have to figure out exactly what you want to do as an investment banker. there's lots of careers to choose from - sales, trading, research, wealth management, etc. once you figure it out, target companies that hire positions in that specific field. usually, when you apply, they will ask you which department you want to apply to. too many departments you apply to mean you probably have no clue of what you're doing. so, i suggest you think about what exactly you want to do (something that you like doing), then go to your favorite financial firm (goldman sachs, jp morgan, citigroup, etc.) and apply for that specific position.

hope this helps.

good luck,
