if your looking for work experience or a summer job keep trying shops. However if you are looking to earn money then they will not take you on as you need a license to work under 16 and you can only work certain hours.

as long as you have determination to do something, you can do anything. Mark 9:23 "everything is possible for him who believes"
i was as stiff as a board when i first started dancing, but because i stretched and worked hard everyday on everything, i became one of the better dancers in both chinese folk dance and ballet. because i stretched everyday, i can do both splits and my back is crazy flexible. so you have the chance everyone else has.

You mean work-shadowing? You could try shadowing at a Musical Theatre, or Ballet Studio.

stick with the camp thing. tons of overnight camps need teens during the summer plus its a great vacation. you could always try to find a internship with a place you want to work with when you get older. like if you want to be a doctor find a job in a doctor's office. and you like kids so go to a pediatrician's office. oh they always need people to care for little babies like hold them and play with them in the hospital or a place where they have incurable diseases. thats fun but you have to be 16.
