Does n e 1no n e where I can go for one days work experience in Birmingham as a trainee make-up artist?

We Answered:

Check out The House of Fraser store in Corporation Street, there is just a chance if you ask at any one of the make up sales, ( possibly one of those that do make-up demo's) one of them might take you on. also, try the Body Shop, and possibly Beatties in solihull! Worth a try anyway! Good luck

Animal work experience in birmingham?

We Answered:

Try contacting the Vets close to where you are living and spread out gradually.
The other possibility, although some distance from Brum, is the West Midland Safari Park twixt Kidderminster and Bewdley (closer to Kidder which is around 18 miles from Birmingham)
The travelling isn't too bad - I had to do that trip daily for several months.
Just had another thought - how about Animal Rescue Centres, like Blue Cross (there is certainly one in Bromsgrove) or the PDSA on the A456 between Halesowen and Edgbaston.
Dudley Zoo - more travelling, but a possibility, perhaps?

Mario Said:

What is the best place to do work experience in Birmingham ?

We Answered:

That would depend entirely on who you are, what you want to do, how long you want to do it for, when you want to do it.

E.g. Work experience in a law firm is unlikely to be the "best place" if you want to be a doctor.

Discuss It!
