Darren Said:

Is this work experience letter alright?

We Answered:

No. The competition for work experience in this field is very high. Your request is far to discursive. State your key skills, what you can offer (e.g. a unique point of view), what you'd like to be able to take from your work experience and the dates you are available.

Any suggestions on places i should go for work experience?

We Answered:

You sound very motivated which is great and you're thinking in the right direction! I personally believe that you can never start working too early nor start getting work experience in your field early either. I started writing for newspapers when I was 16 years old because I loved journalism. Since you have lots of interests, use this time to try a little bit of everything and see what you enjoy the most. If you're in high school and you're interested in fashion, I would consider starting your own Fashion Club through FIDM/The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising! The perks to this is you and your club members can participate in all the contests and create your own activities while paving your way into FIDM after graduation! The school even offers a scholarship just for Fashion Club members who have outstanding clubs. I've heard about this and I think it's a great club compared to other high school clubs that aren't tied with a college. I'm sure you could even tour FIDM as one of your activities! Here's a link to the website: http://fashionclub.com/highschool/club/ I would give it a look because fashion may be something that you're interested in doing for a future career! Good Luck!
