Certainly after being approached by the local school I agreed to allow students with a genuine desire to enter medicine to spend a day with me in General Practice. They sat in on surgeries, came with me on house calls and even got to see the massive amount of administration that I had to do every day. I always of course got patients consent for the student to sit in. I am sure other GPs still do this.
