Sharon Said:

If i would want to work in a hospital, what GCSE subjects? READ MORE?

We Answered:

Do you go to a state or a private school, because it really matters to be honest. You need GCSEs in at least biology and chemistry and possibly physics. A receptionist needs english and some customer care skills.

Allen Said:

Work experience in Psychology?

We Answered:

contact your local crisis line or suicide crisis line. They often have a teen line that you could work on or at least observe. Look in your school to see if they have a teen talk line or teen resolution group.
Good luck!

Jimmie Said:

Can we directly ask a doctor who works in the JR hospital (nhs) whether we can shadow them?

We Answered:

yes you can but often they may be busy.
if the hospital has an education department, it is best to ask someone there if they can help you.

I asked a surgeon once if I could shadow him, and I gave him my CV and I had to go through the Education Department in order to get this work experience.

It won't hurt to try though!
