year 11 work experience interview? We Answered:
Do you know the only thing i can say is just try and be as confident as you can, and be yourself. Another thing is when they ask you whats your downfall/negative qualities say something that is really a positive like 'well im a perfectionist..i have to get things done perfectly or it really bothers me..' that kinda thing. Good luck i hope this helped you a bit. Remember: Be Confident! (:Alicia Said:
What should I wear to an interview for work experience doing a creative arty job?We Answered:
Don't wear a white top with a skull on it, not just because it's an interview but just in general is a horrible fashion statement.Be safe. Wear black trousers, shirt, black tie. So you're still going for the indie goth look but wearing suitable attire.

I'm going to a work experience interview in WaterStones, (a book store) any tips on what to do?We Answered:
hi..don't worry about it.. im sure you be fine.
on the interview day take your CV and some certificates to show your achievements... because some place they do ask to see your CV.
don't be nervous.. the staff members would be friendly and they would ask some questions to you.. for example: -
what would you do to help the business?
how would you react to customers.. meaning happy and friendly.. showing that you are happy to help...
on your work experience day or on your interview they will show you around the store and show you or tell you about the health and safety!
so it is nothing much really.. good luck in your interview...

Work experience interview next year?We Answered:
You'll be fine, I had one when I did mine like 3 years ago. They ask really simple questions like why you want to do your work experience there, what you can contribute, why should they employ you blah blah blah.Erin Said:
I am having my first work experience interview? We Answered:
Regardless of whether it is a paid position or not...It is good practice to prepare for an interview....so as such...you are on the right track...you should dress as you would if you were going to do that job...and I would say clean, neat, maybe a bit colorful without being gaudy...etc...you should bring a pad and pen in case there are some things you are asked or told about the position you wish to fill...As for what to say....In todays day and age...a lot of questions that are asked are called behavior inteview questions...and those questions are a) aligned with content but b) are more interested in what you would or have done in specific circumstances...Could be as simple as ..If a fire broke out...what would your reaction be?....and Panic is not the correct answer..LOL...you need to be able say what you would do in chronological order...a) assess the situation in short order..b) if you could extinguish it...you would..but if it appears too large...you holler for people to evacuate the area....and then you immediately active the EMS system...you need help...pull the fire alarm if there is one..or call the fire department...then leave the premises yourself......I think you can catch my drift on this....Another question interviewers ask is ...Tell me of a time where you were assigned in a group to do a project ...What was your role...and how did it turn out...There are 4 kinds of people in the world..with some who posses some of the traits of two or more...ie..the Director...the person who takes charge and controls the effort in total..assigns roles, monitors them...ensures things get completed on time..., the innovator or teacher..the one who has ideas to improve stuff..has the ability to help others to do stuff, etc....the steady people...ones who take direction and complete the tasks as assigned...and then the Critic..the one who always sees what is wrong with something..what might go wrong, etc...The question I posed above..lets them know what kind of person you are...So if you are preparing for an interview of any sort..you have to have some kind of plan in place for when they ask you a similar question...The bottom line is that you should not be frightened or overcome by what I am telling you...you need mostly to be yourself..have a cheerful countenance and be able to assure the interviewer that you are confident you can do a good job....always be polite and try to smile lots...try not to make excuses for any shortcomings.....if you need something that you don't have...offer to get it..ie...I have had no experience in that area..but I will get my parent(s) to help me to develop some skills in that area since it is required...The reason I told you about the above stuff is that in the long run you are going to need to understand this stuff...and if you start to prepare yourself now..you will find intereviews much easier to attend and your success rate will be much higher overall that those who do not prepare properly.....By the way...for only you only being 14..I am impressed by your maturity and knowledge that you need to prepare ..kudos to you...Stay grounded...smile..be yourself..you will do fine...but as you get older...it the bar will be raised..so start early to prepare yourself for those paying jobs in the future...Cheers and good luck...
