Work Experience Online

Barbara Said:

Can I put my volunteer activities as work experience on an online job application?

We Answered:

You can put it on there, but just say that it is a volunteer position.

Andre Said:

Does anyone have any experience with one of those online work at home companies?

We Answered:

This will probably be the only answer that is not a commercial. Most work at home opportunities are scams. If the people offering these opportunities were truly making millions as they claim and not doing any work to earn the money, why would they offer to cut you in and why would they charge you money to learn their secrets. Bottom line, if you see something that interests you, go to bbb.org (Better Business Bureau) and check out the company.

Danielle Said:

can i use online surveys as work experience?

We Answered:

Please tell me you're not serious....that would be ridiculous.

Regina Said:

Is there such thing as a legitimate Instant Online Degree based on Life/Work Experience?

We Answered:

I honestly don't know if there is. I have never heard of such a thing. It would definitely be helpful for some people. I've met some pretty stupid college grads and people with HS diplomas who are brilliant, but held back because they don't have that piece of paper.
I don't think there is such a thing. I could be very wrong. But there would be difficulty proving your abilities. They would have to develop a standardized test for every occupation. And some employers may not find the instituion or degree to be reputable. They want to hire someone who slept in 4 years worth of classes.

Martin Said:

I like to work from home online, any suggestions from personal experience. please help!!!?

We Answered:

You have to be VERY careful! if you are looking to make a little bit of extra cash on the side and have time on your hands try cashcrate!
It gets lots of great reviews and you can google it...no one claims its a scam, because it isn't! I've gotten paid and I'm happy I didn't waste my time on a scam site again [i've been scammed far too many times with Awsurveys and Panda research]!
don't sign up with any site that makes you pay to join! that is definitely a way to tell a scam artist! Also, google the name of the site you want to sign up with with the word scam next to it to see if it has been claimed to scam people!
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=cas…

so sign up here: http://www.cashcrate.ubb.cc/

you've got nothing to lose! you can quit after a while if you want! i suggest you get a gmail account to sign up with because you may be hit with a lot of spam mail (no viruses and such just annoying advertisers lol)
i'm 16 by the way...so if i can do it, so can you =]
no personal information required [credit card, bank account, social security]
pays with Paypal or Check [i suggest paypal because it pays faster]

best of luck to you and whatever you want to do?

Sam Said:

How can I look up my past work experience online?

We Answered:

Nope...there is no central database with that information. The closest you can come is to pull your free credit report from www.annualcreditreport.com and hope they have all your places of employment listed.

Leslie Said:

Should I wirte about my online working experience in Cv?

We Answered:

As long as it was a legitimate company, I don't see why not, especially if there would be a gap in employment otherwise.
