Work Experience Skills

Laurie Said:

Work experience skills help please!?

We Answered:

One of the big things now a days in music school is time and space management as schools never seem to have enough. So scheduling will be one. You will learn about student/teacher relationships, and then also content. Hope this helps.

Erica Said:

What would an 18 y/o with no work experience include for skills, and interests/hobbies?

We Answered:

If you do team sports - team working, leading, communication
If you do any private study - determination, assertion, motivation
If you use a computer - computer literate in word/excel/internet etc

It entirely depends on the job you're trying to get. Link it somewhat into what you're applying for. Communication is a biggie though.

Jamie Said:

can i also apply entry level job with economics bachelor and without having skills and work experience?

We Answered:

You can apply, but I would try to go for an entry level job and find some form of internship or learning experience that would give you some experience in the field. That way, you have a chance to learn before going into the work world.

Hope this helps!

Jeffery Said:

what skills would you gain from doing work experience in a hospital?

We Answered:

For one thing, you would gain something you just can't learn in books - first-hand experience. You will actually see/observe patients. There's only so much you can glean from the words "patient is pale and complains of pain." If you SEE how pale he is, or how bad he appears to be in pain, you can make a better diagnosis or have a better idea what should be done.

Also, you might learn how to insert an IV in a real person who squirms or has tiny veins. And you'd learn how to work the 12-hour shifts that many nurses have to work. If you're only used to 8-hour shifts, the extra 4 hours can be a shock.

Debra Said:

What is a brief summary of your information, education, skills, work experience, activities and interest(HELP)?

We Answered:

A A resume wants detailed information, not a brief summary. A cover letter may have some of the information, but not all of it.
