Why don't you check out opportunities at a magazine? There are magazines covering just about every subject, and it could be good for you to get some exposure to writing/photography + a topic.

If you want something unique, you could also try for a position in the business management office of a local sports team or a theater or hospital.

Lastly, you could try for a program w/ your government, focusing on indigenous people or the environment. It is a current topic that would be of interest when discussing the experience w/ a future employer.

go to a modelling agency, or a fashion designer or something.
or you could go to girlfriend or dolly or something. theyre based in sydney (along with lots of other mags) and take interns from year 9. i'm in melbourne and i would have loved to have done it there.

wherever you go, make sure its somewhere youll be interested. people at my school just picked any old place and regret it so much. ring around lots, dont be discouraged if you get rejected :)

Usually each store has their own kiosk where you can apply - generally they are located by the service desk.
If your store does not have one, go to the company's main web-page and search for jobs through that route.

Do you mean as in Sports Science?

If so maybe some of the sports rehab places might help. Granted it is a lot of physiotherapy involved but it may help, also ask around some of the gym. Some trainers do require some form of sports science degree. Also general rehab centres could be useful. There is one called Optimum Rehab which offers normal rehab facilities as well as gym facilities for the public. When I went there one of the trainers was studying Sports Science at the University of Sydney.

I live in Melbourne, but maybe you could try at the makeup counters at Myer? They all do people's make-up. Or I know there's a place called Inglot that do people's makeup that looks a bit higher-end. You could look online or in the paper for somewhere near you that offers to do bridal makeup or something and ask to do it with them. There are lots of MAC counters in Sydney, and there seem to be a few in the city look here for which ones closest : http://www.maccosmetics.com.au/templates… contact them and let them know you are interested in work experience and really passionate. You may have to ring a bunch of places, but you'll find somewhere :)
