J-1 is the most likely but it is a lot of work so employers are not enthusiastic unless you are planning to spend a substantial length of time with them and your skills are valuable.

I suggest he should write direct to large companies to work in their HR department where I am sure they need psychologists to mentor their employees! Accountancy firms are the best to write to followed by law firms.

i know that whipps cross hospital did at one point i think they may still do but your best bet is to pop into a few pharmacies and clinics and ask is they do work experience for high school students.
