Second you inform them why you are sending your resume and convince them that you are fit for the job. If you have previous work experiences related to the job that you are applying now then it would greatly help if you indicate that in the cover letter. Then lastly, you end the letter by informing them that you are open for an interview at their most convenient time. Theres many different ways- Volunteering, Some zoos do work experience, Zoo keeper for a day, Shadowing a zoo keeper. There you can find out what its like in a zoo and if you want a career there. Right now i'm volunteering at a zoo, and I love it :) Its my dream to be honest. Its great, So apply online for your local zoo, or go and ask but i doubt the person you need to speak to will be there!
